Youth Theatre Arts Scotland (YTAS) is the national support and development organisation for Scotland’s youth theatre sector. It delivers its work through a combination of youth theatre projects, training and professional development, and information and advocacy, including; annual national Youth Theatre festivals; skills and networking conferences for professionals; national training programmes for ‘Young Leaders’ and ‘Young Critics’; targeted support and development in regions with limited arts infrastructure and high levels of deprivation; and continuous research, support and advocacy for the Youth Theatre sector.
Youth Theatre Arts Scotland (YTAS) is the national development organisation and umbrella body for Scotland’s extensive and vibrant youth theatre community.
We aim to transform lives through youth theatre by developing inspiring participatory opportunities for young people in Scotland, and by connecting, supporting and training the professionals who work with them.
