Theater Bremen is a theatre in Northern Germany with four divisions of Opera, Dance, Theatre and Childrens and Youth Theatre. They stage 30 full-scale productions each season and over 1,000 other ‘events’, including guest-performances, co-productions, festivals, lectures and special events in cultural education for young people. The Childrens and Youth Theatre division at Theatre Bremen offers a large programme of workshops and projects. Junge Akteure (“young actors”) is a unique place for experimental and contemporary theatre work with young people in Germany. It focuses on a high level of quality and stages three full-scale productions each season and engages over 200 young people aged 8-21.
Theater Bremen will use its experience of creating high-quality, experimental and contemporary work with young people as well as hosting natinal and international festivals to inform BUZZ activities and objectives.
